Mutawafiq is a dealer-first automotive marketplace built to simplify how people buy and sell cars in the UAE. The goal was to craft an MVP that connects buyers with verified car dealers, ensuring trust, transparency, and efficiency in every interaction.
As the UX/UI Designer, I was responsible for defining the end-to-end user experience creating a design that not only solves real user pain points but also establishes a strong foundation for product scalability.

The UAE’s online car-buying ecosystem is crowded but inconsistent buyers often face unclear listings, limited dealer transparency, and outdated user flows. The client wanted to transform this fragmented landscape into a trusted, dealer-driven platform that simplifies both discovery and management.
The main challenge was designing a mobile-first MVP that balances the needs of two distinct user groups buyers seeking convenience and dealers requiring control while maintaining simplicity and market readiness.
I approached the problem through a dual-user design strategy, focusing on clarity, trust, and usability.
What I delivered:

A structured yet flexible approach designed to deliver a focused MVP balancing user needs, client goals, and launch readiness.

I designed user flows that make car discovery and booking effortless for buyers while giving dealers intuitive control over their listings. From browsing by budget or category to completing a booking, each step was streamlined for clarity and confidence. For dealers, the flow emphasized easy management and performance insights creating a seamless, trust-driven experience for both sides of the marketplace.

The project concluded with a well-defined MVP design that empowered the client to move confidently into development and early market testing.
